Les images d'Emmanuelle Fèvre sont construites en deux temps distincts et complémentaires. Le premier, photographique, constitue la base et la matière de l'image finale. Le second, numérique, permet de superposer, retravailler, déformer, et mettre en transparence les images via l'ordinateur afin de créer des univers à explorer, couches après couches. Il s'agit, au travers de cette association de jouer de l'opposition entre la représentation d'une réalité (photographique) et des différentes manières de la détourner, grâce à l'outil numérique.
Emmanuelle Fèvre crée depuis 10 ans des images qui ont une profondeur figurative ou imaginaire très personnelle. Elle offre au spectateur la possibilité de découvrir, entre figure et fond, un monde dans lequel il peut s'attarder, se déplacer, et, ce faisant, s'approprier l'image.

Emmanuelle Fèvre's work is constructed in two different stages: one photographic, the other digital. The combination of those two techniques seemed extremely interesting, insofar as our relationship to the photographic image is established around the notion of the "real", and our relationship to the digital around the one of the imaginary. The strength of digital medium is that it gives an opportunity to create and construct an image outside of the classical notions of representation, whilst using the photographic image (and as such "reality") as a base. In that respect, it provides a means to play with the ambivalence and contradictions of human emotions, between fantasy and reality, between who we are and what we want to be, between what we have and what we desire. The digital tool brings a new dimension to the expression of the Self in art.
Emmanuelle Fèvre has been creating for the past ten years images with a very strong figurative or imaginary depth. She gives the spectator the chance to discover, between foreground and background, a world in which he/she can wander for a while, and by doing so, make the image his/her own.
