Eligibility

• Spéos programs and courses are open to participants of all levels and backgrounds. University students studying photography, professionals of all ages wishing to acquire or perfect photography skills for personal or career reasons, and the interested amateur will find a program or course adapted to his or her needs.

• Participants are selected based on application or interview and portfolio.

Credit Procedure

• Participants may obtain American university credit for most Spéos courses in the following ways:

• 1. Students enrolled in Study Abroad Programs in Paris will obtain credit through their program administration, if the Director of the program accepts Spéos courses into the curriculum.

• 2. Students enrolled in a home University may contact their dean or adviser and request credit for Spéos courses. In this case, once the student has paid Spéos tuition in full and is officially enrolled, Spéos will provide the student with an introductory letter addressed to his/her university administrators and a course description. Students are responsible for negotiating transfer credit, however Spéos' administration is available for corresponding with other University administrations once the student has initiated the transfer credit procedure.

• 3.
Students not currently enrolled in a home University will receive, upon successful completion of Spéos course(s), a certificate of completion. In the event that the student should desire to receive transfer credit for Spéos course(s) in future study, he/she can present this certificate accompanied by a course description to his/her future university to initiate negotiations for obtaining transfer credit. Again, Spéos administration will be available to assist students with this process.
